This Privacy Policy explains how Job Hunter for LinkedIn collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and Chrome Extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in plain, simple terms.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you log in using Google or LinkedIn, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not receive or store your social account passwords.

Extension Data: When posts are found for you using our Chrome Extension, job details and contact info from posts you view are saved locally in your browser (or synced to your account if you use a Pro plan).

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store or collect your payment card numbers or banking credentials.

2. How We Use Your Information

To allow you to log in, save job posts found for you, and manage your account.
To sync your saved data across devices (Pro plan users).
To process payments and manage active subscriptions.
To provide customer support when you request assistance.

3. Chrome Extension Permissions

Our Chrome Extension requests minimal permissions necessary to display job posts and organize contacts found for you:

Storage: Saves your saved posts and personal filter preferences locally inside your browser.
Active Tab: Connects only to your active tab when you open the extension while browsing LinkedIn.
Page Display Helper: Formats and organizes contact details on posts you view.

We never read your private messages, passwords, browsing history, or personal activity outside of LinkedIn.

4. Data Sharing & Selling

We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with necessary service providers who help run our platform:

Supabase: For secure authentication and database hosting.
Razorpay: For secure payment processing.
Google & LinkedIn: For identity login authentication.

5. Your Controls & Choices

You can export all your saved job data found for you to CSV or JSON anytime.
You can clear your extension data from your browser storage at any time.
You can request complete account and data deletion by contacting us.

6. Cookies & Security

We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies. All communications between your browser and our servers are protected using SSL/TLS encryption.
